Changing up the format a bit this week. Let me know your thoughts. Also, I’m launching another leadership cohort and would love to have you in it. 12 months of content, tools, accountability, growth. Reply for info.

THE STANDARD HOLDERS

Who will hold the line? Who will lead the way?

Look around. Standards are collapsing everywhere you turn. In politics, in business, in families, in communities. The bar keeps getting lower and everyone acts like that's just how it is now. Like we're supposed to accept that integrity is optional, that principles are outdated, that doing what's right only matters when it's convenient, that respect for your fellow man is conditional.

But here's what I believe about you: you didn't sign up for that race to the bottom.

You know what the world needs right now? Men who refuse to compromise their principles when the pressure is on. Men who maintain standards when it's inconvenient. Men who choose what's right over what's easy, what's true over what's popular, what's necessary over what's comfortable.

Not perfect men. Principled men. Men who've decided that somebody has to hold the line, and it might as well be them. Men who show a better way forward.

The drift wants you to believe that standards don't matter anymore. That everyone's doing it, so why shouldn't you? That you're fighting a losing battle, so why not just give up and go with the flow? That it is up to somebody else to make things better.

But every time you hold a standard when others won't, you're doing something powerful. You're showing your family and friends what integrity looks like. You're demonstrating to your team what leadership means. You're proving to yourself that you're not just another guy who talks a good game but folds when it counts.

The world is desperate for men who won't bend. Not men who are rigid or inflexible, but men who know what they stand for and actually stand for it. Men who've built their character on something stronger than popular opinion or personal convenience. Men who show up with respect, with love, with grace, with resolve, with commitment. Men who take ownership. Who know that things get better by being intentional in their circle of influence. Let us be those men.

📌 QUOTE OF THE WEEK "In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock." - Thomas Jefferson

🧠 INSIGHT: Standards aren't about being better than other people. They're about being better than the person you were yesterday. When you hold a line that others won't, you're not judging them - you're building yourself. Know your values. Live them intentionally.

NO DRIFT CHALLENGE

This week: Where have you been letting your standard slip? Where have you decided that caring is a disadvantage? Where have you been abdicating instead of leading? Where have you been letting fear, doubt or anger win? You can’t change the world, but you can change your world. Shake off the dust and be intentional this week.

I’d love to hear how you are fighting The Drift this week. Reply to this email to let me know. Even better, post it on Instagram and tag @no.drift. Let’s build a community of encouragement there.

CLOSING THOUGHT

We need strong men. We need men of character. We need men who lead the right way for the right reasons. A better tomorrow starts with us getting better today. Stay strong. Stay engaged. Keep moving forward.

For you,
Kevin
